If your watch has not been worn in several days, it is important to wind your watch before setting the time, day, or date. Winding your Rolex watch is done the same way on all Rolex watches, whether quickset or non-quickset.

1. Before beginning to adjust your Rolex watch, you must fully wind it. In order to wind, you must find the crown on the side of the dial.
2. Then, unwind the crown by twisting it counter clockwise until it is free of the screw threads.
3. Next, twist the crown clockwise about 30 times, which will wind the movement of the watch.

To set the time (after winding the watch) on a Rolex non-quickset Date and Day-Date:

1. Pull the crown out to the last notch. The second hand will immediately stop.
2. If the watch has a day display, the date is adjusted by turning the crown counter-clockwise.
3. If the date needs to be corrected, make sure that the hands are turned clockwise, past the midnight position.
4. Depending on whether the watch is fast or slow, you must twist the crown either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
5. Once it is set to the correct time, push the crown back into the watch case. Make sure that the crown is completely screwed back into the case (turning it clockwise) to make it water proof once again.

Rolex Double Quickset Day-Date

1. Wind the watch.
2. To set the day and date, move the crown out to the first notch.
3. Set the date by turning the crown clockwise.
4. To change the date, turn the crown counter-clockwise.
5. When setting the time, bring the crown out to the last notch and turn clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on the time.

Rolex Quickset Date/Datejust

1. Wind the watch.
2. To change the date, pull the crown out to the first notch. If adjusting a men’s watch, twist the crown clockwise, and twist counter-clockwise for a ladies’ watch.
3. Move the crown out to the last position to change the time on the Rolex watch.

How to Adjust Your Rolex Single Quickset Day-Date:

1. Wind your watch, using the first set of instructions.
2. To set the date, pull the crown out to the first notch. Turning the crown counter-clockwise will allow you to rapidly change the date on the watch.
3. If you are wanting to change the day of the week, moved the crown to the last notch, turn the crown clockwise, moving the hands passed midnight, until right day is displayed.
4. Once the day, date, and time have correctly been adjusted, be sure to screw the crown tightly back into the watchcase.

1. Wind the watch.
2. To set the date on this watch, pull the crown out to the first notch and turn the hands counter-clockwise, until reaching the correct date.
3. Stop twisting the crown once your watch second and hour hands are in the right positions.
